Every consumer runs the risk of being abused by the supplier of products or services. If everyone is aware of the consumer rights contained in the Consumer Protection Code, fraud attempts will not be successful.

1. Health or safety risks
The packaging of all products must contain a warning about possible risks to the health or safety of the consumer. Check everything before you buy;
2. Instruction manual
The consumer must not be left in any doubt about the use of the product, all the information about its proper use must be clear on the packaging. If they are not and there is a problem, the consumer can ask for reimbursement;
3. All the features
All product information such as weight, quantity, composition and price must be clear to the consumer at the time of purchase;
4. Misleading advertising
If a consumer buys a product and notices that it doesn't correspond to what was said in an advertisement, they can demand that the supplier fulfill what was promised. If the problem is still not resolved, the consumer has the right to cancel the purchase and get their money back;
5. Compensation
If the consumer has been harmed by the purchase of a product or service, they should be compensated by whoever sold or provided the service;
6. Public services
Public bodies must provide quality care and service when a consumer appeals;
7. Showcase products
When buying a product displayed in a shop window, the consumer must be made aware of any defects. If they find any defects that have not been shown to them, the store must repair them;
8. Deadlines
All deliveries and service dates must have a deadline and this must be clearly presented to the consumer;
9. Signed contracts
A signed contract can have its clauses changed if the consumer perceives abuse on the part of the company. In some cases, consumers can even get their money back;
10. Online shopping
Consumers can withdraw from purchases made online. Regardless of the reason, the buyer has up to seven calendar days to withdraw.
