- In the event of a flight delay, in the first hour the airline is obliged to provide telephones and internet for communication; after two hours, food; after four hours, accommodation, lodging and transportation, if necessary;
- On international trips, passengers can bring a limit of US$500 per suitcase; if they exceed this, the fine is 50% of the value of the items that exceed it;
- In the event of lost luggage, the airport must be notified. If the luggage doesn't turn up within four hours, the airline must help with transportation, clothing and accommodation, if necessary. And for every kilo of luggage, US$20 must be paid;
- Before boarding, take photos of your suitcase and the belongings inside;
It's always a good idea to have travel insurance, as it's a small investment compared to the convenience you'll get in the event of something unforeseen.
